Five Retail Openings at Bow Market this Spring

[Somerville, MA, April 17, 2024]

Bow Market is excited to welcome five new businesses to its growing community of small operators. All located on the balcony level, the five new shops represent the incredible variety of brick and mortar businesses open in Somerville today. These second floor spaces will soon be joined by restaurant openings planned for the courtyard and Bow Market Extension.

Dark Mode, previously Black Label, is run by Ramsey Noel and is focused on clothing and accessories for people drawn to a dark or alternative sense of humor and identity.

Ko Kyoto, is a collaboration with the government of Kyoto prefecture and features incredible handmade and traditionally made goods from Kyoto.

The Den, from Evan Georgopoulos, is a more intimate version of the successful set of Barber's Den barber shops with locations around the Boston region.

The Verdant Maiden, a beauty and wellness shop based in Nantucket has extended a popup that started in February and runs through the end of May.

Lastly, Bow Market has relaunched its retail popup program. From 2018 - 2020. Bow Market hosted over 75 businesses in retail popups including All She Wrote Books, Abroad Modern, and Myrth Ceramics. The relaunched program makes space for businesses to stay for between one and three months. The first popup, open through the end of April, is Side Quest Books and Games, a fantasy and role playing book, games, and accessories shop.
