Oktoberfest
Sept 11th, 12th, and 13th
THREE DAYS this year, with competitions, live music, games, beer, pretzels, and plenty of reasons to raise a stein. Hosted by Remnant Brewing at Bow Market.
FRIDAY — STEIN HOLDING 🍺🏆
We’re kicking off Oktoberfest with our annual Stein Holding Competition, now with separate Damen & Herren divisions. Come compete, cheer on your friends, and witness the ancient German tradition of watching your pals suffer for glory.
SATURDAY — FEST ALL DAY 🎺
Saturday is for live music, Oktoberfest games, and settling in for the long haul. Grab a pretzel. Grab a Fest Lager. Challenge your friends to a game. Dance to some live music. Repeat as necessary.
SUNDAY — LEDERHOSEN LAGER RUN 🏃🍺
End the weekend the only reasonable way: running between breweries. Our Lederhosen Lager Run takes you through the Somerville brewery scene before bringing everyone back to Bow Market for the grand finale: beer, pretzels, and a well-earned celebration.
Fluff Fest Night Market

Join us for our annual Fluff Festival Night Market as we celebrate Somerville's sweetest invention - FLUFF! Come out to kick off the celebration of 21 years of sticky, sweet Somerville. This year’s theme, Legally Fluff: A Toast to Union Square, celebrates 21 years of fluff-filled fun for all ages.
At Night Market you'll have the first chance to purchase the 2026 Fluff Festival Official Merch, new Fluff art by local artists, and enjoy a first taste of this year’s flufftastic Bow Market food and drink specials.

What the Fluff? A Tribute to Union Square Innovation, a far-out festival honoring the invention of Marshmallow Fluff, returns to Union Square in Somerville. We will be celebrating Fluff all day at Bow Market on 9/19. Come try our Fluff specials, escape the crowds and find a seat, and celebrate all afternoon.
Come play, delight in your food, and raise a glass to Union Square as What the Fluff? turns 21! This year’s theme – Legally Fluff: A Toast to Union Square – celebrates 21 years of fluff-filled fun for all ages.

Candlelight Yoga Flow

Come find your zen under our canopy of green & amongst the candles with Zola of Be Easy Meditation
Surrounded by candlelight this class will move slow and build strength through holding poses. Class will end with an extended shavasana.
Must bring your own yoga mat.

On Saturday 9/19 maca will have all specials in store! You can also find maca on the street for pre boxed 3 piece and 6 piece fluff macas, and fluff flavored cake jars. We will be sharing our tent with Nook who will be canning their fluff mocktails: Fluffernutter and Somerville Vice.

GreekFest Somerville
September 11-13th
GreekFest Somerville is back September 11–13 at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 29 Central Street (about a mile from Union Square and a short walk from Gilman Square station).
Three days of food cooked by the parish itself: gyros off six assembly lines, roast lamb, moussaka, spanakopita, loukoumades (hot honey-soaked fried dough) and Greek pastries, plus Greek beer, wine and ouzo at the bar. Live music by Orfeas every night.
Free entry, free parking, rain or shine. Friday 4–11pm, Saturday 12–11pm, Sunday 12–8pm; food lines close at 9. Sunday 1–3pm is family hour with face painting and kids’ activities. Come hungry, stay for the dancing.
