Tiny Turns Paperie is seeking part-time (non-seasonal) weekend shop assistants.

 

Some details:

  • Weekend availability is required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts available)

  • Availability during the winter holiday season is required.

  • Typical shifts are 6-hour blocks. 

  • Ideal candidate will be able to commit to shifts on at least two weekends per month.

  • ⁠Prior retail experience is a plus but is not required. 

  • Some heavy lifting of up to 40lbs (e.g. boxes of inventory) may be required.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Cashier & Customer Service (including answering shop phone, responding to customer emails)

  • Merchandising (restocking and arranging items on store floor)

  • Inventory Intake (unpacking deliveries, adjusting inventory numbers, applying price stickers, etc.)

  • Packaging Online Orders

  • General Shop Upkeep (cleaning, recycling, trash)

Other Opportunities / Potential Responsibilities

  • Craft Projects (for displays, product use examples, giveaways)

  • Lead Workshops & Activities
