Carlie Febo is a photographer, digital storyteller, and creative collaborator based in Boston & Providence, RI. Additionally, Carlie champions small businesses at Bow Market through her role as Director of Marketing & Lead Photographer. Since receiving her degree in Photography from Lesley College of Art & Design in 2010 and her Master's degree in Museum Education from Tufts University in 2016, she has worked with multiple art institutions, non-profits, and small businesses around New England.
Carlie fuses her love of community, art, and photography in all that she does. Outside of Bow (and inside) she is an environmental portrait photographer. She has been focusing her photography over the past six years around capturing real people doing real things that they are passionate about. She photographs, artists, chefs, performers, makers, doers - small business owners of all kinds.
Telling the multiple stories of Bow business owners is truly the highlight of her job at Bow. She approaches her work through the lens of joy, as an active choice. Carlie is interested in fostering experiences that focus on self-empowerment and reclamation.
