This 4-session workshop is designed to take the mystery out of working with oil paint. Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your existing foundation, this hands-on class will guide you through the full process of oil painting- from materials and color mixing to layering and finishing techniques.
Over the course of a month, we’ll work together to build a painting step by step, allowing for proper drying time between sessions. Along the way, you’ll learn how to handle your tools, mix colors intentionally, and understand how oils behave so you can keep creating long after the workshop ends.

Customization of pieces (freehand wood-burned inscriptions) will also be available on the spot.

The captain of the ship, Xiala, is a disgraced Teek whose song can calm the waters around her as easily as it can warp a man’s mind. Her ship carries one passenger. Described as harmless, the passenger, Serapio, is a young man, blind, scarred, and cloaked in destiny. As Xiala well knows, when a man is described as harmless, he usually ends up being a villain.

In 1893, there's no such thing as witches. There used to be, in the wild, dark days before the burnings began, but now witching is nothing but tidy charms and nursery rhymes. If the modern woman wants any measure of power, she must find it at the ballot box.
But when the Eastwood sisters -- James Juniper, Agnes Amaranth, and Beatrice Belladonna -- join the suffragists of New Salem, they begin to pursue the forgotten words and ways that might turn the women's movement into the witch's movement. Stalked by shadows and sickness, hunted by forces who will not suffer a witch to vote -- and perhaps not even to live -- the sisters will need to delve into the oldest magics, draw new alliances, and heal the bond between them if they want to survive.

Join DARK MODE for their weekly screen printing night! Guests will be able to screen print their own t-shirts or hoodies while sipping wine and grooving to jams. Join Side Quest Books & Games for The Zone, a game of doomed exploration into a mysterious quarantine zone!
The Zone is a tabletop roleplaying game about a doomed expedition into a quarantine zone, where one survivor can fulfill their deepest wish.
Take turns directing scenes using prompts from a Scene deck, while narrative complications lead to mutations that enhance the story's horror. Ultimately, the game ends with one survivor who must face the judgment of the others to determine the fate of the final wish.
Meet your fates until only one of you survives. Play-to-lose until the lucky (or unlucky) survivor makes it to the Center. Those who perish switch to playing the Zone itself and judge the final survivor’s wish.

In this class, you’ll learn how to stitch your own sketchbooks and journals using variations of a pamphlet stitch. No experience necessary, just the desire to learn, create, and connect!
In the second half of class, we’ll play with collage, mixed media, and other fun materials to design custom covers, while we chat about creative ways to use your handmade books.
You’ll leave with a stack of unique, ready to go journals, and the skills to keep making more on your own.

Create your own custom bookmark! In this workshop we'll work with a handcrafted brass page marker and unique beads to create a one-of-a-kind bookmark. You'll learn a classic bead joining technique that can be applied to all types of future projects.
