Mushroom Fest
Saturday, October 17th from noon-5pm
The Mushroom Shop & Saus at Bow Market present MUSHROOM FEST!
Join us for a day dedicated to all things mushrooms! You won’t want to miss this full-on mushroom celebration featuring fungi, food & retail specials, vendors, and fun.
The shroomy day includes:
- Costume/Outfit Contest (noon-5pm)
- Shroomy Food Specials & Merch from Bow Businesses (noon-5pm)
- Wild Foraging Education Table (noon-5pm)
- The Mushroom Shop will be fully stocked with a wild variety of fresh fungi to take home
- Mushroom Dying Station (1-3pm)
- Kids coloring sheets and kids craft station (noon-2pm)
- 12:30pm kids forage for mushrooms (the foraging will conclude when all the mushrooms are found)
- Mushroom Cultivation Table (3-5pm)
- Herbalist Table (noon-5pm)

Hot Dog Tonight 2026
Tuesday, October 6th from 5-7pm
Argenziano PTA Dinner at Bow Market from 5:00pm-7pm on Tuesday, October 6th to support the Argenziano PTA in their all the time efforts to provide an enriching experience for our children.
A ticket entitles you to a hot dog, pickle, and one time through our "Chip Bar" with various chip products. If you came to Spaghetti Lion in May, you know how much fun this will be. You won't want to miss it.
100% of profits from this event will go towards the school. For field trips, community building, and other PTA expenses.

Learn Sashiko Mending at Green Tiger
Wednesday, October 14 from 7-9pm
Learn Sashiko Mending at Green Tiger
Discover the history of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese stitching technique used to reinforce worn fabric and repair textiles, and learn its fundamentals through hands-on practice. Participants will create and stitch Sashiko samplers while gaining an appreciation for the cultural roots of this enduring mending tradition during this workshop and will be provided with extra materials and patterns to bring home.
This course is open to people of all skill levels, and all necessary mending supplies will be provided.

Somerville Art Fair Auction at Bow Market

Mark your calendars! The Somerville Art Fair Auction is taking place at Upstairs at Bow on Sunday, November 8th from 4-6pm. Expect an inspiring evening filled with local art, a live Silent Auction, and a Raffle packed with fantastic community prizes.

Hip Hop Yoga October 5th: 630pm - 730pm
All levels yoga class under the greenery. This class will be set to an upbeat Hip Hop & R&B playlist.
Must bring your own yoga mat.

The Shared Palette: Now Open!

The Shared Palette, a pop-up studio classroom, opens October 1 at Bow Market in Somerville, running through November. Founded by ceramicist Amanda Bentley and watercolor illustrator Kaitlyn Ripaldi, the pop-up will feature beginner friendly art projects, such as custom pre-drawn illustrations and ready-to-paint handmade pottery, with all materials included.
Join a workshop like Custom Watercolor Pet Portraits or Oyster Platter Making & Tasting, or book an Open Studio table to create with friends. Reserve your spot here!

The Soft Pace Run Club's Frosty 5k
Saturday, December 5th 9-11:30am (registration is now until Nov.1st)
Happening in Union Square, this Frosty 5k is open to everyone, from Soft Pace Run Club members to folks only just learning about the Run Club now. This is a chance for you to challenge yourself, while being supported and encouraged by a community of fellow runners!
The 5k will start and end at Bow Market, running through Bow St, Highland Ave, Porter Square, and back!
Entry is $50 per runner, and is open now until November 1st. Register now to secure spot!
