Retail Sales at Ko•Kyoto

Ko•Kyoto is currently seeking a new team member for a Retail Sales position!

As a unique retail store and workshop space, Ko•Kyoto is dedicated to deepening the appreciation of Japanese culture, and aims to serve as a model for promoting mutual cultural understanding. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of Japan, explore Japanese crafts and arts, and refine your presentation and people skills while finding joy in the process.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers through demonstrations or creating impactful in-store posters

• Designing store displays on a regular basis 

• Assisting in maintaining store cleanliness

Additionally, depending on your interests, we may assign other responsibities such as:

• Organizing and leading engaging events and workshops

• Managing social media

Availability:

• 10-16 hours per week*

• Essential to have at least one day of weekend availability

*We will be flexible and open to discuss if you have specific preference
