ABOUT THE GAME
Stories evolve over time, influenced by the people who tell them, record them, and adapt them into new forms. Little Red Riding Hood alone has diverged into hundreds of variants. And as society changes, so do our stories. But for every story we remember, dozens more might be forgotten. How many stories have been lost to time?
Mythomorphosis is a collaborative storytelling ttrpg about how stories change over generations. Players will create a society, then create a central myth that their society tells. Over the course of five generations players decide how that myth changes in the aftermath of historical events that define each generation--which parts of the myth get passed on, which get misremembered, and which parts are forgotten entirely.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Gordie Murphy is an IGDN award-nominated game designer who has been designing ttrpgs since 2019, beginning with the first edition of Mythomorphosis (then called Apotheosis). His games explore themes of neurodiversity, alienation, and the way meaning changes over time.
