Join Give Good after hours for a Movie Night: Interiors on Film screening of Phantom Thread (2017), Paul Thomas Anderson’s twisted romance(?) set inside the rarefied world of post-war 1950s London haute couture.
We’ll watch the film together, then unpack it through an interiors lens: how domestic spaces encode power, dependency, and desire; how Reynolds Woodcock’s country house and London townhouse function as psychological extensions of his control and unraveling. We’ll follow up with a behind-the-scenes production clip and discuss how rooms, and the rules within them, shape behavior.
