Join us at The Bright Spot with Boston-based artist Ali Afonso for a fun, beginner-friendly one-night oil painting workshop.

You'll create your own floral oil painting using the alla prima method, a direct one-sitting approach that lets you work loosely and expressively without overthinking it. We'll start with a provided template to sketch from, so even if you've never drawn before, you'll have a solid foundation to paint over. Then it's all about color, texture, and enjoying the process.

Ali will guide you through every step of the way during this social, low-pressure night, focused on having fun and leaving with something you're genuinely proud of.

All materials are included, and feel free to bring a drink!

You'll leave with a finished painting- just know that oil paint stays wet for a while, so plan to transport it flat and give it some drying time at home. Worth the wait!
