A grounded workshop at Soft Space Wellness led by Dr. Shoniqua Roach on floor-based sensual movement.

🌹 We invite you to join us on Sunday, December 7th from 2-4pm, for a grounded, floor-based sensual movement workshop. We will engage in a thorough, strength-focused warmup; learn beginner-friendly sensual dance shapes & sequences (off the pole this time!); and engage in soft, facilitated reflections about our individual relationships to embodiment, sensuality, and pleasure. 🔥

Led by Dr. Shoniqua Roach, a queer black feminist writer, scholar and movement artist. Shoniqua has a wayward movement background—having trained in and across diverse styles such as Afro-Caribbean, Modern, Salsa, Twerk, West African, Hip-hop, sensual movement, floor work and pole dance. Shoniqua is committed to co-creating inclusive and sensual learning spaces for diverse bodies to identify, hold and harness their movement potential on the floor and on the pole. 💖
