About the Book:

In this extended thought experiment, I argue that race and race-related terms ("White," "Latinx," "Black," "Asian," "Indigenous," "African American," "Native American," etc.), must be abolished and transcended if any authentic human liberation is to occur, as race as a way of thinking and being by definition operates on colonial structures of subordination and domination. Unlike many philosophies that acknowledge race as an oppressive social construction/category while still opting to utilize it, this text provides a tangible process philosophical plan for the dis/solution and moving beyond of the category of race through conversations with the post-race philosophies of Noble Drew Ali, the linguistic metaphysics of Ann Cudd, cancel culture, Jennifer Lisa Vest's philosophy of "Mixed Race," Gloria Anzaldúa's poststructural "borderlands," Erin Manning's Relationscapes, the Next Universe of Hip-Hop Culture, and more.
